Personal mission statement:
Bridging Generations Towards Eternity! (Psalm 89:1)
How personal mission statement was revealed:
The fall of 2009, I had a vision of a Bridge. On both ends of the Bridge was Eternity, standing upright, like bookends. Across the Bridge were all generations since the beginning of time, big, little, young, old, men, women...people of all status and stature. Then God said to raise up radical followers of Jesus who love the Lord their God with all their heart. Eternity has no time limit. God's love and power is not restricted by age. The Lord is doing something unique in our church body by bringing forth a new kind of multi-generational ministry. All ages are learning to use their spiritual gifts and participate in ministry at Faith. We didn't set out to make this happen. God is doing it. We are just cooperating with Him. Never before has it been more true for us to "...sing of the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord forever...from generation to generation!" Psalm 89:1
Bio:
Pastor's wife, mother of two teenagers, been in ministry with husband 20 years. Despite a traumatic past that at one time left her hopeless and suicidal, God intervened, rescued her and provided a way out! This event began a wonderful journey of healing her heart and restoring her life. But God didn't stop there. After 5 years of suffering with chronic illness, on Sept. 24, 2006, God healed her of a painful blood disorder caused by Lyme Disease. This encounter opened her eyes to the heavenly realm and the miracle-working power of God. She has ministered God's love and presence through music, both within the church and in other venues including professional recording, radio interviews, worship leading at conferences and retreats, public speaking, leadership training, discipleship, private lessons, and developed a new Little Disciples program for PreK-5th graders focused on worship and developing a personal relationship with God. Because she has experienced the love of her Heavenly Father, she LIVES to see people of all ages TRANSFORMED by His love too! "O Taste and see that the LORD is good!" Psalm 34:8.
